Have you ever picked through a trail mix to put together the perfect bite? The perfect combo of fruit, nut, seed and chocolate? Well, Grizzlies energy balls are the perfect bite of your favorite trail mix, every time. The perfect blast of energy and nutrition rolled into one ball. Put the rest of your trail mix to use today!

What you'll need

1/2 Cup dates


1 Cup oats

1/2 Cup nut/seed butter

2 T Coconut butter

1 T Chia or hemp seeds

1/4-1/3 Cup cocoa nibs or chocolate chips

1/2 t Vanilla

1/4 t Salt

Step 1

Place dates, trail mix, and oats in food processor. Pulse until desired texture, coarse meal.

Step 2

Add nut butter, coconut oil, vanilla, and salt. Mix until well incorporated and a sticky consistency occurs.

Step 3

Transfer to a bowl and add cacao nibs and chia seeds, stir until combined.

Step 4

Scoop about 2 T into hands and form 1 inch balls. Place on a plate or cookie sheet to firm up in refrigerator (1/2 hour). Once firm they’re easier to store in a container or bag. Store in fridge.
